Observation

Dr. Jones observed me teaching a lesson to Mrs. Spence's American Literature ELL class. I conducted a lesson on Photo Story. The students had completed reading Native American Myths. Mrs. Spence placed the students into groups, and each group was to create a myth. I showed the students how they could use Photo Story as a multimedia tool. The students were very well behaved, and I feel that the lesson went well. Mrs. Spence and I collaborated on this activity, and it gave me great insight into the importance of collaboration and communication as a SLMS. It is important for the SLMS to listen to teacher in order to offer ideas/suggestions to help enhance student learning. This was a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone.
